I am one who often wakes in the middle of my dreams, and while this piece does not reflect a specific dream, it evokes the experiencing of awakening from sleep, an ‘in between’ state where reality is not fixed. The edges of sleep are blurred by imagination and the subconscious, forming false memories and inconsistencies. Dreaming and allowing the subconscious to dominate the mind can lead to layers of discoveries.
